Psychodynamic therapy explores how unconscious processes, past experiences, and early relationships shape your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. It's a deeper, exploratory form of therapy that helps you understand the root causes of your difficulties rather than just managing symptoms.
Sessions are typically open-ended and exploratory. You're encouraged to talk freely about whatever comes to mind, and your therapist will help you notice patterns and connect present-day struggles to earlier life experiences. This is often a longer-term therapy.
